November activities

Earlier this month I did the Insane Inflatable 5k with a group of friends.  It was a good laugh, I'm thankful for these crazy women!

Lucy's first pig tails!  I'm not going to lie, she squirmed while I was doing it and I accidentally kind of pulled her hair.  She looked at me like I had just completely betrayed her trust and started crying.  Sooooooooooooooo I don't plan on trying it again soon.

Ben has been running on a trail around his office on his lunch break.  We sure do love Greensboro.  Not a bad view, right?

Ben just completed a ropes course at our second home, the Greensboro Science Center.  (Happy birthday, Jeremy!!)  I feel like the SC employees should be getting our Christmas cards because we spend so much time there.  For any locals wondering, Ben said it was awesome!

I sent this video to Uncle Jayce on his birthday and it makes me laugh because it shows everybody's personalities pretty well.  I asked them to wish Uncle Jayce a happy birthday.  James immediately started cheerfully wishing him a happy birthday until I told him it was ok to stop, while Jonny spent the entire time trying to decide if he wanted to complete the task set before him or not--and I guess he decided on "no thanks".  Ha!  Lucy is just happy to be here!  She's wearing the belt that goes with our Batman costume, which is something I want to remember from this stage.  She loves wearing that belt and her shoes every day-all day.  Her shoes are currently very important to her and she brings them to us each morning and cries when she has to take her "shoehoes" off.

Black bean sensory time is happy time over here :)

Up next--Thanksgiving!  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week!
